Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is an annual celebration of God’s gift of Life. It began when President Ronald Reagan designated January 22, 1984 to be set aside to celebrate God’s gift of life, commemorate the many lives lost to abortion, and commit to protecting human life at every stage – from conception to natural death. This date correlates to the 1973 Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions that were handed down by the United States Supreme Court, making abortion legal in all 50 states.
We invite you to celebrate Sanctity of Human Life Sunday with a personal report from an AVA Care representative. Let us share with you how AVA Care is impacting the lives of women and men in this community who are facing unintended pregnancy. We’ll share our mission and stories of women who have been impacted by AVA Care. Representatives are available for Saturday evening / Sunday morning worship times, Sunday School classes, women’s groups, youth groups, and more. Presentations can range from 5-30 minutes.
